When chosing a book mark in my bookmark window. the WEB content is only displayed in the bookmark field
When chosing a bookmark in my bookmark window. the WEB content is only displayed in the bookmark window, and my bookmarks are gone. What can I do the keep the bookmark field as it should and display the web content in the normal browser window?

Hi, if you mean that the page is opening in the sidebar, right click on the bookmark > Properties, and deselect 'load this bookmark in the sidebar.'

Do not use the "Bookmark this page" button that appears on some webpages. The JavaScript code for that "button" is what causes that "Load this bookmark in the sidebar" to get check-marked to begin with.
There was a Bug report filed about that like 15 years ago; the developers determined that the "fix" could open Firefox to a security exploit and didn't want to fix a 'nuisance' with what could become an 'exploit'.
There are multiple ways to "Bookmark this Page" built into Firefox, so use those and get out of the habit of using "buttons" for that on webpages - if that is what caused to 'box' to get selected for that bookmark.
