How do I restore the bookmark "key" function/icon in the location bar?
Currently building my "bookmarked" page file and plan to import additional pages from another browzer. I would like to use Firefox's capabilities to "remember" login information (ie: usernm / p-word). Unfortunately, I cannot get the key icon that initiates that remember function to appear on the location bar or any other tool or menu bar. ?? How do I activate the login info. process in Firefox and how do I configure the location bar so that I can use the "key" icon in the future?

Make sure that you do not run Firefox in permanent Private Browsing mode (Always use Private Browsing mode; Never Remember History).
- Tools > Options > Privacy > Firefox will: "Use custom settings for history"
- Deselect: [ ] "Always use Private Browsing mode"
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
- Switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
- Do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window

You can use these steps to make a website recognize and remember you:
- You can create a cookie" "Allow" exception to keep specific cookies, especially in case of secure websites and when cookies expire when Firefox is closed.
- Tools > Options > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: Exceptions
