if i import favorites from safari, will they be removed from safari?
I want to import my favorites from Safari, but also want them to remain in Safari. If I import them will they disappear from Safari?

Nope, all your data in safari will remain.
Please note that you should update to Firefox 45.0.1 (Update Firefox to the latest release).
