My computer is a PC, OS is Windows 7 Professional, 64-bit, and Firefox version is 46.0.1.

I want to move my Firefox Profile from “Computer A” (source computer) to “Computer B” (destination computer) and after extensive Goggling and searching, I have been unable to find the solution to my problem.

On the source computer, I made a copy of the “Mozilla” folder located at: C:\Users\Ed\AppData\Local\.

On the source computer, I made a copy of the “Mozilla” folder located at: C:\Users\Ed\AppData\Roaming\.

Both the Mozilla folders referenced above include all the folders and files included in each of the Mozilla folders.

I then moved the copied Mozilla folders to their respective destination location at: C:\Users\Ed\AppData\Local\ – and – C:\Users\Ed\AppData\Roaming\.

I have examined the “profiles.ini” file, located at “C:\Users\Ed\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Mozilla\Firefox\ I suspect the solution to my problem resides in the “ini” file but I am not certain of how to edit the “ini” file.

Thanks for your help, Ed
