Every time I use Google there are several boxes pop up to show an error of " [javascript application ] test "and even after I click OK those keep appearing again. I'm not able to do any searching on Google at all.

hello, can you try to replicate this behaviour when you launch firefox in safe mode once? if not, maybe an addon is interfering here...
