My e-mail format has changed, I want to change it back to original format

more options

My original e-mail screen changed, so now there is a narrow column on the right which has the e-mail address and titles. the rest of the screen is blank. The old format had the e-mail address and titles extending across the screen. How do I get back to the old format?

You posted in the Firefox support fora queue. Firefox doesn't do email, it's strictly a web browser.

If you are using Firefox to access your mail, you are using "web-mail" such as Yahoo!Mail or Gmail. You need to seek support from your service provider or a forum for that service.

If your problem is with Thunderbird, let us know and we can move this thread to the Thunderbird support queue.

Thank you for sharing your browser data. Don't take this the wrong way, but you seem to have a lot of extensions that are, well, the kinds of things that get added to your system by a free software bundle that you weren't really looking for. Could you take a few minutes to disable all the extensions you do not regularly use in case one of those is causing this problem. Here's how:

You can view, disable, and often remove unwanted or unknown extensions on the Add-ons page. Either:

  • Command+Shift+a (Windows: Ctrl+Shift+a)
  • "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons

In the left column, click Extensions. Then cast a critical eye over the list on the right side. All extensions are optional. If in doubt, disable.

Often a link will appear above at least one disabled extension to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links as the last step.

Any improvement?
