Hi AlienLanes, I haven't seen that one before. Could you give an example link or two to pages that causes that message when you click a full screen button? The screenshot shows Prezi, but I couldn't figure out how to get that message there.
hi jscher, here is my screen shot a few days ago. this is sort of a rouge site and sooner or later people are going to be complaining about some of the stuff that goes on and i hope it's never, at least "later". the less rules and corporations the better i feel. so i removed the site url. i don't remember any other sites i've lately been to with the "allow" nag. so it's site code that's doing it?
thank you!
When I query a popular search engine for this phrase, it seems to be a feature of the Flash plugin rather than the browser you're using. This is rare, so it could be something the site is specifically adding to its HTML code for loading Flash -- relating to the keyboard? -- which triggers this. Might not be something you can control.
Does it help if you toggle full-screen-api.approval-required to false on the about:config page?
jscher2000 and cor-el thanks for looking into this. i've seen this a few times years back then nothing until my most favorite site i just found has it, and only this one now. i never heard of the about:config before and opened it to take a look. this is very interesting and exciting to learn something behind the scenes, new, thank you! i have a full-screen-api.pointer-lock.enabled;true and full-screen-api.unprefix.enabled;false only one's with a T or F. but i "could void my warranty" LOL msg is like a major appliance or opening the case on a windoz pc warning!
thanks again!
