Thunderbird sends email I have written to others to my spam box -- stop it - my emails do not go to others or to me - I do not send spam
Sometimes, when I address an email to others and cc to myself. Thunderbird sends some emails I have written to others directly to my spam box. My emails do not go to others or to me. - I do not send spam. Should I turn off Spam so nothing goes to Spam? How? I then have trouble sending the email again. Why does Thunderbird/email think some of my emails are Spam? Can I change something ? Please help. I'm going to repeat back what I think you are saying:
You send an e-mail to someone and CC yourself. When the e-mail server sends you the CC copy, it appears in your Junk/Spam folder.
But then you also say, "My emails do not go to others or to me." This contradicts what you said about your CC copy appearing in your Spam folder.
Question 1: Could you please explain this?
For the copy of the e-mail that was CCed to yourself that appears in the Spam folder:
Question 2: When you look at the contents of the Spam folder in Thunderbird, does that e-mail have the orange flame icon beside it?
The orange flame icon means that Thunderbird thought that the e-mail was spam and that is why it is in the Spam folder. If the e-mail does not have the orange flame icon, then your e-mail server put the e-mail into your Spam folder.
Whether the orange flame is there or not will determine where our attention needs to be for solving the issue.
