Firefox pages are loading slow
Firefox pages are loading just a tad slow. I get a white page for a few seconds before the pages actually load. Sometimes the delay is only about 1 second or 2, sometimes longer. Just enough to be annoying. This problem started recently and is happening with all web pages.

Hello,
The Refresh feature (called "Reset" in older Firefox versions) can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your bookmarks, history, passwords, cookies, and other essential information.
Note: When you use this feature, you will lose any extensions, toolbar customizations, and some preferences. See the Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings article for more information.
To Refresh Firefox:
- Open the Troubleshooting Information page using one of these methods:
- Click the menu button , click help and select Troubleshooting Information. A new tab containing your troubleshooting information should open.
- If you're unable to access the Help menu, type about:support in your address bar to bring up the Troubleshooting Information page.
- At the top right corner of the page, you should see a button that says "Refresh Firefox" ("Reset Firefox" in older Firefox versions). Click on it.
- Firefox will close. After the refresh process is completed, Firefox will show a window with the information that is imported.
- Click Finish and Firefox will reopen.
Did this fix the problem? Please report back to us!
Thank you.
Try to disable multi-process tabs in Firefox.
You can disable multi-process tabs in Firefox by setting the related prefs to false on the about:config page.
- browser.tabs.remote.autostart = false
- browser.tabs.remote.autostart.2 = false
You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. You can accept the warning and click "I'll be careful" to continue.

At first this seemed to work but less than a week later once again the browser is loading pages with an uncomfortable delay.
I will now try the solution posted by cor-el and see if that works.

It appears the issue did improve after trying this. I've been waiting a few days to see if the problem returns and so far it hasn't. Will post any changes in the status of this problem if it occurs. Thanks
