Sometimes e-mail won't get sent
How do I create an exception in my security system? When I try to send e-mail through Mozilla Thunderbird, I often get a notice, and the e-mail won't get sent. C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Local\Temp\nsmail.tmp. Then it says check your temporary directory setting - don't know where to go from there

What antivirus are you using? Is it scanning your incoming and outgoing email?
If you start Windows in its safe mode so as to temporarily disable AV/email scanning, does it work any better?
