programs are working ok. Sometimes I get the crash report sometimes not. sometimes I just get that firefox has stopped working and a canceling the firefox.exe fixes it. Any one else having this problem? Thanks for your help. Have not yet tried refreshing Firefox(rather not if at all possible).

If you have submitted crash reports then please post the IDs of one or more recent crash reports that start with "bp-".

  • bp-xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx

You can find the report ID of recent crash reports "on the "Help -> Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page".

  • click the "All Crash Reports" button on this page to open the about:crashes page and see all crash reports.

Alternatively you can open about:crashes via the location/address bar.

For example: 14319cc6-2c52-4711-94aa-4c6c583fe150 5/13/17 1:06 PM The other times firefox hung up and did not even show the crash report on my screen. Thanks.

That looks like a problem with the graphics display driver (atidxx64.dll).

You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.

  • Options/Preferences -> Advanced -> General -> Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"

You need to close and restart Firefox after toggling this setting.

You can check if there is an update for your graphics display driver and check for hardware acceleration related issues.

Thanks for your information. My graphics display driver is up-to-date. Will try disabling the hardware acceleration and see if this helps. Why is only Firefox hanging up? So far nothing else is doing this! Again thanks!
