what shows in the attachment pane when you add an attachment?
How do you add an attachment?
When I send attachment I press attachment, and it tells me to choose photo I want as attachment, and goes into my photoimpact folders and I select the photo I wish to send then it shows up on the email as attachment in the top right hand corner it reads as 691b83a...d6e7.jpg when I open it the photo is displayed but it also says click here to view all photos and it shows all the photos in that particular folder it has only started doing this . if you can help please do, as it is very annoying and I would appreciate it so much thank you Dennis
once you get the file opened you are no longer in Thunderbird... I assume they are opened in photo impact.
Regardless, that is an option displayed to you and does not relate to the attachment which is limited to the file named, nothing more.
DO YOU KNOW HOW I CAN STOP THIS FROM HAPPENING, AS ALL THIS ONLY STARTED 3-6 WEEKS AGO THANK YOU AND THANK YOU FOR YOUR APPRECIATED TIME DENNIS
NO I DO NOT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT PHOTO IMPACT IF YOU WANT INSTRUCTIONS ABOUT IT PLEASE CONTACT COREL.
Do you have another email account?
Try sending an email message with an attached photo to a separate email account, or failing that, send one to yourself using this one email account, and see what arrives. I believe you have jumped to a false conclusion about what is being sent due to your "photo impact" (whatever that is) being used to view the one file you have attached.
If you were truly sending multiple files then you'd see them all listed in the attachments box, and sending would become very slow due to the cumulative size of the message plus attachments. Not to mention that it could be very easy to hit some message size limitation, and your messages would be refused by your email provider.
Sheesh! Corel PhotoImpact? I'd quite forgotten how much money Windows users are asked to hand over for software. I think you'll find that free software such as Irfanview or The Gimp does the job just as well.
