We have enabled Websphere security domain to prevent direct access of JSP pages. We have disabled application security in this domain. Post this change, we are getting HTTP 500 when we tried accessing JSP pages through URL replay (post authentication) in IE. Whereas in firefox, its showing us the JSP page. Not sure why there is a difference in the behaviour

Are you saying that the server was configured not to serve any requests for .jsp pages, or you have made a change on the client PC that IE honors but Firefox does not? Can you point to the documentation on what the changes were supposed to do?
