I usually had about 15-20 tabs in each session and my Firefox was configured to keep and reload tabs from the last session upon reopening.

Since the last update, when I reopen I still have the same amount of tabs, however, none of them has the corresponding URL, they are ALL blank tabs. The only ones that are kept properly are pinned tabs. I've been losing enough tabs to start considering switching to another browser =/.

Separate Issue: Update your Flash Player Note: Windows users should download the ActiveX for Internet Explorer. and the plugin for Plugin-based browsers (like Firefox).

Note: Windows 8 and Windows 10 have built-in flash players and Adobe will cause a conflict. Install the plugin only. Not the ActiveX.

Flash Player Version: Version 26.0.0.151

You may have corrupt sessionstore file(s). Delete all sessionstore* files and the sessionstore-backups folder.

Type about:support<enter> in the address bar.

Under the page logo on the left side, you will see Application Basics. Under this find Profile Folder. To its right press the button Show Folder. This will open your file browser to the current Firefox profile. Now Close Firefox.

Locate the above file. Then rename or delete it. Restart Firefox.

Thanks for the advice, I tried it but still couldnt solve the issue.

I also took a look at the bug report Happy112 provided but they also seem to be no closer to figuring out the issue.

Do you have pinned tabs?

What is the current home page (web page or internal about: page)?

Are you closing tabs right before you close Firefox?

If that is the case then try to wait 10 seconds or more before closing Firefox.

I have a couple of pinned tabs, mi homepage is about:blank and I don't close tabs before closing FF.

Pinned tabs are always properly stored and a few of the tabs are kept as should though for the most part, they are lost.

I use about:about as the home page.

You can try that about:about page to see if that makes a difference.

Does Firefox update the files in the sessionstore-backups folder?

You can check for problems with the sessionstore.js file in the Firefox profile folder that stores session data. When sessionstore.js is deleted you lose pinned tabs and open tabs and you will have to recreate them, so if necessary make a note or bookmark them.

You can use the button on the "Help -> Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page to go to the current Firefox profile folder or use the about:profiles page.
