I changed my password for Google mail on a laptop via the Web. I can no longer access my Google mail account using my Mozilla Thunderbird account. I removed the old password and entered and saved the new one. I still am unable to access my Google mail account.

Also, my location on Google is shown to be Lufkin, Texas which is incorrect.

There is no such thing as a "Thunderbird account". You've set up an account with an email provider, e.g. Gmail or Yahoo. Then you use Thunderbird to access mail for that account on your email provider's server, as well as to send mail via your email provider's server.

I still am unable to access my Google mail account.

And what prevents you from accessing your account?

my location on Google is shown to be Lufkin, Texas which is incorrect.

I don't think this has got anything to do with Thunderbird.
