Firefox has changed my computer settings. I was able to take a screenshot on my Mac and open it WITHOUT being in a Firefox window. Even screenshots take from the Chrome browser open in a Firefox window.

I need this reversed as this is important to my work.

Please help me take back control of my computer!

Sounds that the default application for PNG files got set to Firefox. I don't know how you set or change the default application on Mac, but you can try to open the right-click context menu instead of double-clicking the file to see if that gives an option to choose another application (Preview).
