Fred McD gave some excellent and complete suggestions, unfortunately they did not solve the problem -- I do use CCleaner to rid myself of cookies and temporary files. I also discovered the Firefox doesn't work completely with Western Union, nor Macy's.com -- Reiterating, Since Meetup.com changed their website format, I can NOT RSVP on that site.
