Slow as in? I can go to Wells Fargo, Bank of America, US Bank and have no slow down. So unless someone can verify what kinda connectivity you have at your location or unless the problem is computer related this will be hard to know just from a general "slow connections" and Problem connecting-this could be a hosts of problems masked by FF usage.

Do you notice any pattern to this problem? For example, you mentioned two HTTPS (secure) sites. Are HTTP (insecure) sites also affected? CNN's site has a lot of content and might load slowly on most occasions: http://www.cnn.com/

Any improvement?
