Could you please explain how you view a *.mp4 file. Think you need to explain your issue in detail. Do not use all caps it is rude and considered shouting.

You might try Copy/Paste about:preferences into the Address Bar then Enter Go to Applications and find MP4 in the list and switch it to what you want.
