I'm guessing that "reading list" is the name of a bookmarks folder that you're seeing in Firefox?

If that's the case, you can delete the folder by doing the following:

  1. Go to the Bookmarks menu > show all bookmarks.
  2. In the sidebar on the left, look for the reading list item.
  3. Right-click on it, and choose "delete".

If you don't see a "reading list" item there, could you take a screenshot of where you're seeing your reading list in Firefox? I just tried importing data from Safari to Firefox, and it didn't appear to copy the reading list I had in Safari, so I'd like to make sure I understand what you're talking about.
