firefox wont load flash content when using run this program as an administrator
Firefox 59.0 (64-bit) Adobe Flash debugger installed Windows 10 Enterprise running as Administrator
If I run a website containing flash information, the information will not load when I launch Firefox running as an administrator
With Flash Player installed for Firefox, you can go to this URL and a container on this page is flash. https://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager03.html
You just see an empty space where the flash content should display, there is no Allow or Flash icons in the URL bar either.

Please provide public link(s) (no password) that we can check out. No Personal Information Please !
Also, tell us how to get to the webpage in question.
I am testing using VMWare Web Client, which is not a public URL, that is how I am seeing the issue.
I think it can also be reproduced by the following: Firefox and Adobe debug flash player installed Set Firefox to 'run this program as an administrator' in Compatibility tab open firefox enter the following URL: https://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager03.html
The page loads but flash content under "Global Storage Settings Panel' doesn't load
I am doing this with the default Administrator account in Windows 10
Make sure you are not blocking content.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
It looks like Safe Mode disables the Flash Player in Firefox, so in that case it prompts me to install it to see the content.
I have the flash player installed already but it looks like it doesn't get loaded as I don't even see the block\allow icon in the url bar
Interesting. Firefox Safe Mode Deactivates add-ons temporary. But flash is a plugin and would not be affected.
Let's remove, then reinstall flash.
Flash: Grab the uninstaller from here:
http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-windows.html Uninstall Flash Player | Windows
http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-mac-os.html Uninstall Flash Player | Mac
Then reinstall the latest version.
Note: Windows users should download the active_x for Internet Explorer. and the plugin for Plugin-based browsers (like Firefox).
Note: Windows 8 and Windows 10 have built-in flash players and Adobe will cause a conflict. Install the plugin only. Not the active_x.
Flash Player Version 29.0.0.113
https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ Direct link scans current system and browser Note: Other software is offered in the download. <Windows Only>
https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/ Step 1: Select Operating System Step 2: Select A Version (Firefox, Win IE . . . .) Note: Other software is offered in the download. <Windows Only>
Still the same issue.
Once thing I have noticed is I am logged into Windows 10 as the default administrator account.
If i create a 2nd administrator account, and run Firefox as an administrator I don't seem to have any issues.
I am trying to figure out the issue as switching to a new account will require me to change a number of things in my test framework as things are hardcoded to a default account.
I have the same setup on Windows 7, running as the Administrator and I don't face any issues.
