Do I have to use the foxfire app to search the web? W/o the app I can access the “add-on” page, ( not fully explained anywhere that I’ve seen) but can’t perform a full search.

Just tap the address bar to enter a search term and Firefox for Android will search the web for you. This article has some further pointers to help you get started with Firefox for Android.

Hi alkb, you posted your question under the Firefox for Android category, but your browser identified itself as Safari on an iPhone. I'm confused. Could you clarify what you are trying to do in more detail, and on what device?
