Language change, import messages and contacts from folders.
Hello,
I had a reinstall of Windows 10. All my Thunderbird messages and contacts are stored on a data disc (not on the system disc).
1. I installed Thunderbird in the same location it was previously. It has been installed in Polish (I use English in Windows). How can I change the language? Download a language pack? (att 1)
2. I changed locations of e-mail folders, they have been imported successfully, but I cannot import contacts from the previous installation (where are they located?) 2a. I cannot import Outlook / Windows Mail Win Vista contacts stored in .contact files in a folder.
3. Can I append messages in .eml format from my 2012 PC to my email folder? 3a. How to convert Thunderbird compressed data in the message folders to single .eml messages?

have a look at these two add-ons. The first imports and exports mail and second allows import and export of address books.

The first add-on does not work, because ThBird still wants to import contacts from a program, not from a folder. ...or I cannot find it in the menu.
The second one (more functions) is an .xpi file. Where should I put it? Into 'extensions' folder?

Ok, the add-on "more functions" is active. I imported all mail from folders, but nothing changed in contacts.
The add-on is active only in the main menu, not in address book menu.
I tried to import contacts simpler. I Changed the location of Windows 'Contacts' folder. Now the target is the proper folder with contacts. Thunderbird did not see the change. The address book is empty. Have I missed something? How to tell Thunderbird where are the contacts?
