How do I put 'open in new window' back onto my main context menu?

more options

rhis new update to FF64 changed the context menu, or Right Click menu on tabs to something I do not like. Without having to downgrade to 63, is their a way to put Move to New Window back on the main context menu? or am I stuck with having to highlight a secondary tab ?

If the image didnt upload, here is a screenshot link to what Im referring to: https://prnt.sc/lv2mhn

For the most part, there aren't any built-in features to modify menus.

Sometimes custom style rules (to be applied using a userChrome.css file) can be used to modify menus. I don't know whether someone has worked out a method to do it with the "Move Tab(s)" menu items.

I know it's difficult to change habits, but you could consider:

  • "Tear-off" - click-and-drag the tab downwards with the mouse until it detaches to a new window
  • Add-ons - I think I've seen extensions to move a tab to a new window or to move it to a different existing window; maybe one of those would be more convenient?
