Win 7 SP1, Firefox 64.0

On 2 or more occasions in last month, after wondering why no offer to save a password, did the usual Options>Privacy & Security. In each case "Ask to save logins and passwords for websites" is UN-checked. So I check the box and some time later, offer to save password stops.

I also noticed now I allegedly have lots of saved logins. That's great except a number of the saved logins do NOT populate sign-in on the website.

Thanks for any suggestions to fix this problem.

I have my password saves and they don't vanish like yours. And I am using ff64 with Windows 10 pro. I think it might be more related to your security software scrubbing clean any logins.

Thanks for quick reply - a bit baffling that some "saved" logons work, some don't. Boston Globe works, Home Depot doesn't. Hmmm

Hello fredwehr,

Your system details show that you have RoboForm Password Manager installed - would you please disable it and see if that will make a difference  ?

You could also check the value of the preference "signon.rememberSignons" on the "about:config" page :

Type in the address bar about:config and press Enter

Then type in the search bar signon.remember and look for the above mentioned pref. If you have to change the value, then close and restart Firefox.
