Every browser works except Firefox
I've refreshed, restarted in safe mode and reinstalled Firefox without add-ons. I've turned off security firewall. Every browser except Firefox and Tor works fine. Pages don't load. No error messages, nothing. Buttons respond when clicked, just no action is taken. This even happens in Safe Mode. After reinstalling, it works ONCE. If I close the window and restart, it goes dead again. Windows 10 home.

Hi, sorry to hear you are having a problem; please see if anything here helps - Firefox can't load websites but other browsers can.
If nothing above helps, try a Clean Reinstall; this means you remove your Firefox program files and then reinstall Firefox. This process does not remove your Firefox profile data (such as bookmarks and passwords), since that information is stored in a different location. With Firefox closed, use another browser to download Firefox from https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/ and save the file to somewhere convenient on your computer.
Now delete the Firefox installation folder which should be in one of the following locations -
C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox
You can now double click the file you previously downloaded to install Firefox.

Thx but it didn't work. I reinstalled it along with removing all traces of the previous download/installation/folders. It works upon initial installation but after closing and restarting, it dies again.
I just tried Refresh and that doesn't work either. I know, weird.
Scribe, I tried your recommendation again. It seems that after I delete everything (I thought), it still asks to restore my previous version, so there must be files hidden somewhere that I couldn't find. So I think this time I got a truly clean install. It seems to create a folder called "old Firefox files and I deleted that". I'll see if it keeps working. Thx again.
It's down again. Idk. I'm using MS Edge to access this forum.
