I'm having a very hard time finding out what's the latest version of Thunderbird and what was changed from the previous version.

Once in a while I'd get a pop-up window saying that a new version is available, and it would have a link to that info. But those links haven't worked for the past few updates, and I haven't been able to find that info on the Thunderbird web site.

I could just let Thunderbird update itself, but I'd sure like to know what was changed first, like it used to be.

Doing a Google search for Thunderbird release notes finds this. https://www.thunderbird.net/en-US/thunderbird/60.5.2/releasenotes/

Thanks!

Strange that we should have to use Google to find the right page on Thunderbird's site for something like this. But whatever works.

You don`t have to use Google. It is just one way. I am just pointing out that there is always release notes available however you find them. There used to be a link to the download page for Thunderbird at the top of this forum but for unknown reasons it was removed. I guess it was to helpful.

Now for using the Help screens for Thunderbird. The built in search is worthless. Using an outside search like Google is the way to go.

Yes, I found out about the Thunderbird built-in search being worthless, that's why I asked the question here.

And James: I've got that link bookmarked now.

Thanks guys!
