Disabling pockets via group policy

Good Morning,

I am an onsite IT Engineer for a school district. The issue we are facing now is that when my students login to the end user device and open up firefox they see the recommended pockets. In the recommending pockets is the "Momo Challenge." Even though I have worked with my networking team this article/video still shows up when students open up a new tab in firefox. I have worked with my team to try to write up a script to disable the pocket for all of our students via group policy. So far we have had no luck. Is there a way to get this disabled as a mass deployment process than to do one off disabling. I would like to get this deployed out via group policy. Any ideas or recommendations would be much appreciated.

If you mean the Recommended by Pocket section on the Firefox Home / new tab page, you might also need to use an Autoconfig entry to set this preference to false:

browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.feeds.section.topstories
