I received an email from mozilla monitor warning me about some data breech, the 11 of march; just saw it today; because the account I had with firefox is very old (from 2011) and I never used it, and moreover I am not sure of its password and its nickname, I requested mozilla to re-send me the username, but after tiying 3 times now, no email has shown up, and mozilla site tells me the email has been sent alright; I have other email sent by mozilla, firefox, without problems they are there in my email; I checked both the spam folder and the trash folder, no luck. thanks so much for any help. By the way, just now while I am writing, just received the confirmation email for this lines that I am writing, that I had to sign up with a new account; so, when sent, the mozilla emails looks are arriving without any hindrance... but not the ones where I asked to re-send my username for the old account!!

Such e-mail is always sent to the address on file with the website.

Check your user profile at the site. Also, check your junk mail folder.

Registration & "accounts" for Sync (now known as "Firefox Accounts"), and this support forum are completely different from each other. Each uses separate servers, separate login credentials, and separate databases.

Sync was changed in April 2014 with Firefox 29, so an account that was created in 2011 and not used after (approximately) August 2015 when the old server was decommissioned isn't valid any longer.

If you are not getting an email from the Firefox Accounts system, and it's not in the "spam" or "trash" folders, the easiest thing to do is to just create a new Firefox Account and move forward.
