not responding to addresses in adress bar. wont open help
if I click on a link... firefox will open.. and does nothing... it won't even show the link in the address bar. If I type an address in the bar... nothing happens. I choose help.. it opens a new tab.. but still nothing.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times...

Type about:preferences#advanced<Enter> in the address bar.
Under Advanced, Select Network.
[v56+] Type about:preferences#general<enter> in the address bar. Look for Network. +++++++++++++++++++++ Look for Configure How Firefox Connects and press the Settings button. If you are using a proxy, make sure those settings are correct. If there is no proxy, first try No Proxy. If there is a problem, then try System Proxy.
