Are there external web site dependencies transparent to the user on Firefox startup?
Internet Explorer was trying to reach an external Microsoft site which was down. This made IE stall on program startup. This was patched by Microsoft. I am checking to see if same/similar dependencies in all browsers in our environment.

I don't know whether any of them would block Firefox from showing the home page.
