How can I move the address bar that an upgrade put in the wrong place?

A recent upgrade moved my address bar to the main top, right. I can barely see it, and I despise where it is! I need to know how to move it back where it belongs. I have already tried the customize option. There's a useless replica of an address bar where it should be. It acts more like a search box, but can also be used within limits as an address bar. WHY is it there? Why can't I switch places with them, or something? At this point, I 'm thinking of trying to delete that, whatever it is, and see if my address bar would go back there automatically.
