Annoying Website Notifications

more options

On my Firefox for Android I visited a local news website. Now all of a sudden every 2 hours or so I am getting push notifications for articles they post. I cannot for the life of me find the settings for this so I can remove this website from a list without having to Stop Notifications completely from the Android settings.

First, while you are on the site, tap the lock icon (or globe icon) at the left end of the address bar to see whether there is a site-specific permission for the notifications.

Then, to modify notification settings globally, try this:

menu > Settings > Notifications > "Manage notification settings"

I don't know what everything listed here is. The two I would try disabling are:

"Site notifications"

and if that doesn't solve it, then

"Firefox Push notifications"

Any improvement?
