I had IMDB as a custom search engine in One-Click Search Engines but it suddenly disappeared and now I cannot find any way to get it back.

Any help or info will be gratefully received.

On the Mycroft site nothing happens when I click on an entry. Although at one point a message about Javascript popped up. However, I have found an add-on that meets my needs; it shows IMDB and others when I right click on selected text.

Since you found a solution that meets your needs, I'll mark this thread as "solved".

Regarding the Mycroft site:

The function that allows https://mycroftproject.com to add an external seach engine no longer works in Firefox 78 and above. This is by design - see this document and this bugzilla report for more information.

You could try this extension as a workaround:

Try using this web-extension:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/add-custom-search-engine/
Please read About this extension on that page by scrolling down a bit.

Evidently IMDB is no longer part of On-Click Search:
Get it here via that extension:
https://mycroftproject.com/search-engines.html?name=IMDB

I still have my IMDB search Add-on / plugin that I installed years ago before the One-Click feature was added to Firefox. Got it from the MyCroft Project website, that Mozilla originally created years ago and then handed off about a dozen years ago to interested volunteer users who continued the project.

Thank you for your response. I have already tried both your suggestions. The first has a disclaimer:-

Notice for Firefox 78+: Because of changes made by Mozilla the add-on is now less convenient. I am sorry for the inconvenience.
