I followed the help article on finding the %appdata%\thunderbird\profiles\ to back up to Carbonite automatically so that if I get a new computer or have a crash all of my email folders would be saved. But when I search my computer for that, it finds nothing. Can you tell me where those folders are or if it could be called something else? I have millions of email folders that I really need backed up on Carbonite! Thank you.

What you're looking for is your current profile folder. It is named something like abcdefgh.default whereby the "abcdefgh" part is actually a string of 8 random characters. That profile folder is inside the Thunderbird\Profiles location. You can reach it faster within Thunderbird via Help > Troubleshooting Information and click the Open Folder button in the Profile Folder row.

You are using "millions" metaphorically, correct? You can open that path by pasting it into the address bar of a File Explorer window, not the searchbox, then press Enter, or use the Run box that opens when you press the Windows + R keys.

Yes metaphorically millions. I have gone into file explorer and searched as well for the %appdata%\thunderbird\profile and can't find the files there either? Just need to find them to make sure backed up on Carbonite. Any help appreciated!
