Use case: Need to view the calendar event details, one or more of the following: location, Zoom/WebEx/etc. link in the description, and to click on them. And I don't want to be able to edit any of those.

After several years of using Lightning, I've realized that there is no way to view any event details (even description, location, etc.) or to click on a link in the description/location, except by entering the event editing tool (window). And, if you have a recurring event, this adds an extra step: to choose between editing the specific occurrence or all of them. I've realized this when I set up Lightning in my kiddo's account, so that the kid can open Zoom links directly from the calendar (which is shared within the family).

The same situation happens when a notification window pops-up: it has "Details.." link, but it opens "Edit event" window, and for the recurring events, it offers "edit this occurrence" or "edit all occurrences".

There should be an easy way to just "View" an event (possibly with a button "edit" from within the event viewer).

By the way, once that "view" would be available, it would also allow easier printing of a single event information. This is convenient for the events that are imported into the calendar from various reservations (car/hotel/flight).

If a link is added to an event as an attachment, it can be opened by double click. The Location and Description are visible by hovering on the event in the Calendar Pane, and the Location column can be enabled in the Find Events pane. This may already be apparent to you.
