Problem with sending emails 1 specific (main) account

more options

So I am having trouble with my email sending. As soon as I hit reply, reply all, or new message (using a specific account) not all the email addresses I have on there. It immediately freezes up and I have to force close thunderbird. This only happens to one specific email address as I have 3 email addresses tied into thunderbird and have been using this for many years now without any issue. This just started happening this morning.

If anyone has any idea or needs any more insight please let me know. Thanks in advanced.

Edit: restarted the computer in safe mode with networking and relaunched thunderbird and it works now. But with a normal start it does not work. I am just using windows defender as the anti virus so the program isn't being held by an AV.

Thanks, so it works now, I checked up the desktop icon for one drive and made it free up some space earlier before having this issue. So I had it (one drive) redo everything (resync the files back to the machine, and it started working again.) So inevitably it had to do something with the one drive and it makes sense because I disabled all the 3rd party programs in the startup. So I appreciate the comment about the cloud because that helped figure that problem out. Much appreciated!

Windows Defender is an AV, so you should add the TB profile folder as an Exclusion in WD settings. Help/Troubleshooting, about:profiles, to see the profile location.

Trying it right now, didn't work without restarting, so I am restarting windows now to see if a reboot after adding works.

Sfhowes it did not work unfortunately, it is still freezing up when trying to reply or compose a new email for that account specifically.

If you have any other insight that would be great!

If it works in Windows safe mode, check the Startup programs by right-clicking Start, Task Manager, Startup tab. Perhaps there is something like a cloud backup program that is working on that one account in normal mode.
