Hi, I have used Firefox for many, many years and never had an issue till now. And it is only on Facebook., Version 84.0.2 and the one before this one whenever i use facebook and start playing any videos it slows down and lags. I try the same in Chrome and no issue. What did Firefox do just recently to Facebook's website or maybe their security or? Not sure but it is almost making me leave for Chrome.

Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache.

Warning ! ! This will log you out of sites you're logged in to. You may also lose any settings for that website.

If there is still a problem, Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Did this help?

While you are in safe mode;

Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration in Firefox. Since this feature was added to Firefox it has gradually improved but there are still a few glitches.

Nope didn't fix it. Went back to lagging shortly after. I have to use Chrome now for Facebook as it lags so much. Tried all those things you posted. What is weird is that it used to be great ( for years) and then on the last update or the one before for Firefox things changed. Too bad as I liked the browser.
