I welcomed the Picture-in-Picture feature to the Mac, which allowed me to watch YouTube videos while performing other tasks.

Recently when I have clicked on the Picture-in-Picture icon, the view does the exact opposite of what I want to occur. I want a small window that I can move around and resize. Instead, the video goes Full Screen.

I've tried right-clicking on the icon and on the video, double-right-clicking, looking through Firefox settings, updating to the latest version, etc. -- but stiill don't know how to recover the Picture-in-Picture feature. How do I get that back? Thank you.

I just found the solution my own problem! I'm posting this here in case others have the same question.

What I percevied as "Full-Screen" was really just "Very Big Picture-in-Picture". When I went to the edge of the video window, I was able to shrink the size of this window as well as move it around in the usual way. Furthermore, the size and location of the video window is retained across videos (I haven't yet tested if it is retained across browser sessions).
