The symbols next to "Paragraph" and "Variable Width" on my email used to include italics, boldface, etc. How can I recover them? Thanks!

They should be there in the html message composer if the Formatting Bar is visible, under View/Toolbars. Press Alt or F10 if the Menu Bar with View is hidden.
