Every time I open a new window whether through ctrl + n or through the button in application menu, the menu opens up tiny. I've tried resizing it by dragging the edges of the window to the edge of my page, but that has several issues: 1 - It's temporary, and after working for a couple of minutes, it will revert itself without me closing Firefox 2 - I can only resize it horizontally for some reason 3 - Even if I drag it out to the issues, the window won't be maximized, just really big.

So far, I've tried setting privacy.resistFingerPrinting to true, but that didn't work.

Try to rename/remove xulstore.json in the Firefox profile folder with Firefox closed.

You can use the button on the "Help -> More Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page to go to the current Firefox profile folder or use the about:profiles page.

I deleted the file, and new windows are opening larger than before, but the window still isn't maximized. It also doesn't remember my resizing attempts.

Same. Took the steps that I saw on another ticket by messing with the privacy.resistFingerPrinting to false, which is possibly part of this guys problem. Mine was set to off but I toggled it and still nothing. I also went into the properties of the app itself and changed the value to open maximized and still nothing, so BUMP!
