search extensions wrongly marked as "acrive"

more options

On page about:support I can see the following extensions marked as "active".

Modules complémentaires Nom Type Version Activé ID Amazon.co.uk extension 1.9 true amazon@search.mozilla.org Bing extension 1.3 true bing@search.mozilla.org eBay extension 1.3 true ebay@search.mozilla.org Google extension 1.1 true google@search.mozilla.org

I can't find where this information comes from. How can I completely remove these from my FIrefox install? Thanks

You cannot remove the built-in search engine extensions.

Mismatch between Extensions list and Shortcuts box in Settings

Firefox tracks the built-in search engine extensions in two data files. One is a registry of extensions and the other lists your enabled search engines. If you remove or hide search engines on the Settings/Options page, Search panel, that is recorded in the search engines file (search.json.mozlz4) but it doesn't affect the extension registry file (extensions.json). As far as Firefox is concerned, those extensions are always enabled even if you don't care to use them.
