Firefox asks for my Primary Password on every page of Firefox I open whether I want to use a password or not. I have to click to remove the box and I lose control of the page because the page will move opposite of the direction my cursor moves. Can I open the "Primary Password" box whenever I want to use it instead having to deal with it every time I open a Firefox webpage?

This can be very frustrating.

If disabling login auto-fill doesn't help then you can disable the Password Manager and possibly force a PP prompt by opening Lockwise (about:logins) if you need to access or fill a login in a form.

Remove the checkmark:

  • Settings -> Privacy & Security: Logins and Passwords: [] "Ask to save logins and passwords for websites"

You can still use "Use Saved Login/Password" in the right-click context menu, but auto-fill won't work.
