I'm trying to lower the size of my TB files by having my set of large attachments be external to TB. The "detach" option when selecting the attachment in the original email does this keeping a link to the now-remote attachment file. (Too bad there isn't an option to have this be automatic as the file is 1st read).

When I open the original email the attachment link is to the now-remoted file just as I expect.

HOWEVER, when I delete the original email message the remote attachment file is not deleted.

Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug in TB. I'm running Win 10 and TB 91.3.2 (64bit)?

Is there an add-on to do a bulk "detach"? Is there a companion add-on to do the remote file delete?

I think this is the way it works.
