Hello,

When my VPN client Private Internet Access drops its connection to the VPN server, all the tabs I have open in Firefox say they have crashed. I can restore the pages by simply refreshing, but it didn't used to be like this. This doesn't happen if I turn off wifi or manually disconnect the VPN, only if the VPN drops the connection. Very strange.

My environment: - Mac Mini M1 2020 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD - MacOS Monterey 12.0.1 - PIA MacOS client 3.1.2 (build 06767) - Firefox 94.0.2 (64-bit) -- ublock origin 1.39.0 -- greasemonkey 4.11

Hopefully you can reproduce and fix it.

Do you know why they drop the connection? Have you had your ISP check your service?

How often does this happen? What were you doing at the time? surfing, watching a clip, reading something . . . .

The reason for the VPN dropping the connection could be any number of factors between my computer, my wifi network, the ISP cables, the internet, and the VPN server, so I really can't say. It happens a few times a day, and it reconnects almost immediately. That part my not be solvable, and even if it were, it probably wouldn't be worth the effort.

As for what I was doing, I was doing nothing, just reading a web page.

This is a minor annoyance, but there probably is a bug -- or perhaps a feature -- in Firefox that causes this.

I thought I was submitting a bug report here... is there somewhere else where I can do that?
