Any time I visit a google page that has a map anywhere on it the page goes into a continual loop of refreshing until the google security page opens to make sure I am not a robot. When I click the captcha it reloads the page and the loop starts again. So then I entered about:config to turn autorefresh to false but it still does not stop the google page from a continual reload loop. What else can I do?

I would change that preference back to false otherwise you will have to 'allow' any redirection. I don't know how you stop continual refreshing. I have a Greasemonkey script; I am not sure how effective it is and you need to install one of the 'monkey' extensions to install and use it. A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
