Since TB 10x, but for sure in TB 102, selecting a mailbox after an other mailbox had been used, leads to a delay of sometimes up to 5 seconds. The delay seems to depend on the "size" of the mailbox (number of mails and/or number of subfolders), however it breaks a "fluent" usage of TB. Imagine you want to unfold a mailbox, nothing happens, you click again and after a few seconds, the mailbox unfolds and immediately re-folds, because you have clicked twice :-(. This is a major hindrance in using TB when several big mailboxes are involved.

Anyone knows how to solve this problem?

This is possibly related to a broken folder cache in v102. A fix is in the works but not ready yet. It won't be in the upcoming 102.0.2 update yet. So you'll probably have to be patient a little longer.

Thanks a lot @christ1. That makes sense. I noticed today, that the delays are much shorter during the weekend, when our company's mailserver is considerably less loaded. So refreshing the folder list/information is much faster and delays are shortened. I will try to be patient :-)
