Firefox version 109.0 (64 bit) I have 2 Laptops, A and B. Laptop A: about 2 years ago Adobe and Flash quit the business, Firefox was doing ok then after an Firefox update videos would not play, I have to use chrome to this day, Had Windows 8 then updated to 10, no difference Laptop B: Everything was good until a couple of weeks ago January ? 10-20?? 2023. Just after an Firefox update my Facebook would not fully load, I can only see a couple of post followed by 3 post that only show a outlined box with an error occurred and if I click on it or anywhere else it kinda of locks up and does nothing. I can use Facebook on my cell phone (no Firefox) and on Laptop A (chrome) so nothing wrong with Facebook. I tried turning on-off, all that stuff. Tried using MS Edge still would not load fully. I uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled, no help. I updated Windows 10 to 11, I can Run Facebook thru MS Edge but still cant thru Firefox. Just seems like Firefox doesn't like videos. Has my time expired with Mozilla Firefox?

You need to run on both with Firefox in Private Mode browser and verify this problem isn't related to Addon caused first here.

I have cleared all cookies and data, one of the first things I did.

I have tried running in private mode, same thing

Thanks for the suggestions

On one laptop you can't play videos on FB. On the other you have other issues. Perhaps you have set up each laptop in a similar manner so it would be worth trying troubleshoot mode.

When I downloaded Firefox I let it run as recommended, did not customize it any of the times and by uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox that should have eliminated the need for troubleshoot mode, I have nothing to loose so I'll give it a try.

Guess what gets me is that in both laptops all was fine, then.......! Laptop B, new 12-2019, set up and loaded my stuff including Mozilla Firefox, ran with no issues till 01-2023, followed all recommended updates. In December I had to change my internet security, from Kaspersky to Bitdefender. Everything was fine following that till 3 weeks later, if that was an issue I would think that my current issue would have started then. I thought about uninstalling Bitdefender to see if that had anything to do with it but I stopped in case of a bug or something. I did run system deep clean two separate times with no issues reported.

NO I did not state that, I have not run Troubleshoot mode, what I stated was by uninstalling then reinstalling a fresh version of Firefox should eliminate the need to run the troubleshoot
