Copy and Paste Not working

more options

When copy and pasting specific images on pc (be that laptop or computer), firefox will copy the image, but it will not actually be pasted anywhere when i attempt to paste it. The image is black if it does show an image, and when it doesn't nothing happens. On my phone, when i download the images they are black as well, and do not show anything.

The only thing that I can think of that would be causing this is some filter that detects "explicit" imagery, as it has only ever seemed to be a problem when there was not safe for work content that i was copying, for instance: i was trying to copy and paste an image of a gun from firefox to differing applications, and it never worked. I was able to easily copy and paste an image of the globe however.

If it is filtering explicit imagery, how do I turn this off? If something else is causing the problem, please help me fix it!

I have done some testing and it seems that i cannot copy any sort of images that I find on twitter/twitter dms, nor can i copy any explicit imagery from a site called funnyjunk. However neither of these sites have any issue on other browsers, and i have not enabled any settings in those sites to cause them to have issues here

The ONLY way to solve it (which DOES work) is to RESTART. Then the copy/paste works fine

I have restarted, both my computer and following the steps to refresh firefox. Neither has solved the problem

I have tried restarting both my computer and firefox recently, neither of these things have fixed the issue. It is still preventing me from copying images from the aforementioned sites

What kind of images is this about if you open such an image in a new tab ? Is this only a problem with Copy/Paste or also with saving an image ?

What gets selected if you right-click such an image and open the Inspector ?

If i open the image in a new tab i am still unable to copy the image and paste it in any other programs or even other tabs on firefox.

I can save just fine on my computer/laptop, but I shouldn't have to save an image in order to share it around. On my phone however, I am unable to save the images either. They instead just turn into a black screen in my image gallery.

Image This is what the inspector showed me when i opened the inspector on an image ive been having trouble copying.

I get an HTTP/2.0 401 Unauthorized error for this image from ton.twitter.com and that is likely the reason that it doesn't show here.

Im not sure what that means, could you please elaborate. Regardless, on every other browser i can copy and paste images from twitter or funnyjunk ,but not on firefox. Do you know why that is?
