Dear user,

Thank you for reaching out to us regarding the browsing interruption you are experiencing with Firefox after the recent update. As a Firefox support volunteer for the Windows platform, I would be glad to assist you in resolving this issue.

Based on your description, it seems that you are unable to fully open webpages, particularly YouTube, and are encountering problems with video playback and sound. Additionally, it appears that the webpage transitions are incomplete, leading to freezing or getting stuck.

To address this issue, I recommend trying the following troubleshooting steps:

Clear browser cache: Go to the Firefox menu, select "Options," then "Privacy & Security," and click on the "Clear Data" button under the "Cookies and Site Data" section. Check the box next to "Cached Web Content" and click "Clear."

Disable extensions: Temporarily disable any installed extensions or add-ons that might be causing conflicts with webpage loading. You can do this by going to the Firefox menu, selecting "Add-ons," and disabling them one by one until the issue is resolved.

Update Firefox: Ensure that you are using the latest version of Firefox. Go to the Firefox menu, select "Help," and click on "About Firefox." If an update is available, it will be downloaded and installed automatically.

Reset Firefox settings: If the issue persists, you can try resetting Firefox to its default settings. To do this, go to the Firefox menu, select "Help," then "Troubleshooting Information." In the new tab that opens, click on the "Refresh Firefox" button.

Please try these steps and let me know if the issue is resolved or if you require further assistance.

Best regards, Suram Firefox Support Volunteer

This could be a problem with the TLS 1.3 Early Data feature also known as Zero Round Trip Time Resumption (0rtt). You can try to set security.tls.enable_0rtt_data = false on the about:config page to disable this feature until this is fixed by Google or Mozilla to see if that helps.
